Terms of service
The rules for using Trekk. Effective 20 October 2026.
Who we are and who these terms are for
Trekk is a GPS vehicle tracking platform made by Haydrive LLC, Yerevan, Armenia ("we"). These terms apply to the website trekk.io, the web dashboard at dash.trekk.io, the Trekk mobile app and the Trekk Telegram bot (together, "the service").
Trekk is a service for businesses. The company that opens an account ("the customer") accepts these terms by using the service; the person who accepts them on its behalf confirms they may do so. If a separate written agreement with us says something different, that agreement applies.
The service
Trekk receives data from GPS trackers installed in the customer's vehicles and shows it in the dashboard, the app and the bot: positions, trips, fuel, maintenance reminders, reports and alerts. Trackers, SIM cards and their installation are not part of the service; the customer gets them from us, a partner or elsewhere.
We keep improving the service and may change, add or remove features. If we remove something a customer depends on, we tell them in advance.
Accounts and access
- The customer's administrators create users and decide what each of them can see and do.
- Keep passwords secret and do not share accounts. The customer is responsible for what happens under its users' accounts.
- Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think an account has been misused.
Lawful use
The customer uses Trekk only for vehicles it is entitled to track, and in line with the law. In particular, the customer:
- informs its drivers and employees that their vehicles are tracked, and obtains their consent where the law requires it;
- does not use Trekk to follow people without a legal basis;
- does not try to break, overload, copy or resell the service, or to reach other customers' data;
- resells Trekk to its own clients only under a partner agreement with us.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we tell the customer why.
Data
The data about the customer's vehicles and drivers belongs to the customer. We process it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, and do not sell it or use it for advertising. The customer can ask for an export of its data at any time.
Fees and payment
- Prices are per tracked vehicle per month, as agreed in the customer's offer or invoice.
- Invoices are paid by bank transfer within the time stated on them. Prices are in Armenian dram unless agreed otherwise, and taxes are added where they apply.
- If an invoice stays unpaid after a reminder, we may suspend access until it is paid. The data is kept during a suspension.
- We announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep Trekk available around the clock and monitor it continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation unless a separate agreement says so. Planned maintenance is done at quiet hours where possible.
Positions and readings depend on the trackers, mobile networks and satellite signals, which are outside our control; data can be delayed, imprecise or missing. Trekk is not designed for emergency response or other uses where a delay or error could put lives at risk.
Services of others
Trekk relies on services of other companies, such as mobile operators, map providers, Google, Apple and Telegram. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply to their services.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or the consequences of decisions made on the basis of the data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the customer paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending the service
- The customer can stop using Trekk at any time; already invoiced periods are not refunded unless agreed otherwise.
- We can end the service for a customer with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms.
- For 30 days after the end, the customer can ask for an export of its data. After that we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. We tell customers about important changes by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they apply. Using Trekk after that date means accepting the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia. We try to settle any disagreement by talking first; if that fails, the courts of Yerevan decide.
